The McCullagh Group is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Metabolomics to work on a collaborative research project.
The role will involve conducting a metabolomics method development and application project to explore the capabilities of ion-chromatography coupled directly to Orbitrap mass spectrometry (IC-MS) for untargeted and targeted metabolomics. Using state of the art instrumentation supplied by our project partner ThermoFisher Scientific, the role will focus on exploring technical capabilities and applying IC-MS in a number of research projects. Other duties will include helping organise, workshops, writing manuscripts, grant applications and making presentations at conferences.
